Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines (ETL / ELT) and data platforms.
This role is responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources into a centralized data warehouse and data lake to enable analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across company operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Extract data from MySQL, PostgreSQL, ERP systems, MongoDB, external APIs, and online sheets.
- Build and manage centralized warehouse and data lake architecture.
- Design optimized schemas for reporting, analytics, and performance workloads.
- Implement streaming or near real-time pipelines using Kafka, Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
- Optimize data models, indexing, partitioning, and aggregation for cost and performance.
- Collaborate with cloud teams on Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, and high availability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, validation, deduplication, and failure recovery.
- Ensure data quality, encryption at rest/in transit, and backup strategies.
- Support governance, access controls, ISO 27001 alignment, and data privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with production-grade pipelines.
- Strong advanced SQL and Python experience for data processing and orchestration.
- Experience with ETL/ELT platforms such as Airbyte, Airflow, or equivalent.
- Hands-on warehouse experience (ClickHouse preferred) and large-scale datasets.
- Strong background with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB/NoSQL systems.
- Strong analytical and distributed systems troubleshooting skills.
- Clear communication and strong documentation discipline.
About the Role
Leading Folks is hiring a Senior Odoo Engineer (Techno-Functional) to lead development, customization, and optimization of an Odoo ERP platform for a high-growth KSA-based business.
What You'll Do
- Lead Odoo development, custom modules, workflow automation, and integrations.
- Handle Odoo upgrades, migrations, release planning, and production support.
- Optimize PostgreSQL performance and overall platform scalability.
- Drive requirement analysis with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Support teams.
- Own Accounting module optimization (GL, AR/AP, VAT, reporting), plus CRM, Helpdesk, and Projects.
- Support UAT, go-live, post-launch stabilization, and user training.
Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on Odoo development experience.
- Strong Odoo Accounting module experience (mandatory).
- Strong Python and PostgreSQL experience.
- Strong Odoo framework knowledge (ORM, QWeb, XML, APIs).
- Experience with Odoo deployment and multi-company/multi-branch setups.
Nice to Have
- VAT / ZATCA exposure, Odoo Enterprise, performance tuning, certification.
- Experience in logistics/supply chain or high-transaction environments.

We are seeking a highly motivated Site Reliability / Cloud Engineer to build, scale, and operate cloud infrastructure for a high-transaction logistics platform across the GCC.
This role focuses on reliability, automation, scalability, and security to keep systems highly available and resilient.
Requirements
- 4+ years in SRE, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Strong hands-on cloud experience (AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure).
- Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience (scaling, networking, cluster operations).
- IaC expertise with Terraform (preferred).
- CI/CD automation and observability (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
- Linux administration, scripting (Python/Bash/Go), and HA/DR architecture knowledge.
- Strong networking fundamentals: VPCs, load balancing, DNS, and firewalls.
Strong Plus
- Experience with high-transaction platforms (logistics, e-commerce, fintech).

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Software Engineering Manager / Tech Lead to lead internal and remote engineering teams and drive successful delivery of critical software platforms and services.
This role owns day-to-day engineering execution, requirement translation, and delivery quality across logistics platforms, fulfillment systems, ERP integrations, and dispatch ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Lead distributed in-house and remote engineering teams with clear delivery ownership.
- Manage daily task allocation, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and execution tracking.
- Own end-to-end SDLC from requirements through deployment and stabilization.
- Manage concurrent projects while actively removing blockers and execution risks.
- Gather requirements with Operations, Finance, and Product teams and convert them into technical specs.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance across PHP/Laravel, Python (FastAPI or similar), and Node.js.
- Drive code quality, architecture reviews, API-first design, and microservices decisions.
- Improve reliability, observability, and performance under peak concurrency loads.
- Collaborate with cloud teams on CI/CD, Kubernetes deployments, and release management.
- Enforce secure coding, governance standards, and compliance readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years as Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- Proven experience managing distributed teams (remote + onsite).
- Strong hands-on skills with PHP/Laravel, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience with REST APIs, integrations, microservices, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong scalable system design and production reliability fundamentals.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and business-to-engineering alignment.
